The three real drivers behind emotional & binge eating, food noise, and the cycle that keeps running no matter what you try
With Nic Gaviria. Registered Counsellor, Binge and Emotional Eating Expert and host of the Binge Free Bestie podcast
You've tried the diets. The fresh starts on Monday. You've worked with a dietitian, maybe a personal trainer, possibly a therapist. Maybe you're using or seriously considering a GLP-1 medication, or you've had, or are considering, bariatric surgery. Anything to finally feel like you've got this.
And still, food keeps taking over. You're on it, then you're off it. You're doing really well, then one hard day and something just takes over. The all-or-nothing cycle that makes no sense, because you are not an all-or-nothing person. Not in your career, not in your relationships, not anywhere else. Just this.
Here's what the wellness industry and diet culture won't tell you: starting another diet or finding the next quick fix will not stop the overeating. It fuels it. Every plan you've followed, every rule you've white-knuckled your way through. They were treating the symptom, not the cause. Which is exactly why nothing has stuck.
This workshop is different. You're going to learn exactly what's happening in your body, your brain, and your nervous system that keeps driving you back to food. When you understand that, everything shifts. You stop fighting yourself and start actually getting somewhere.

You feel out of control around food. Whether that looks like eating in your car, finding yourself in front of the fridge at 9pm, or swinging through the drive-through on the way home even though dinner is already planned
You swing between being completely "on it" and totally off the rails. No grey area, just all or nothing, good or bad, on the wagon or off it entirely
You go from hyperfocus and doing everything right to complete chaos and eating everything in sight. And you cannot figure out why you can't just stay consistent
You're capable, high-functioning, and successful in so many areas of your life. But your relationship with food and your body is the thing you keep hidden, the thing that quietly doesn't match who you know you actually are
You're on a GLP-1 medication, post-bariatric surgery, or seriously considering either. And you want to understand what these tools don't address, and how to have a genuinely peaceful relationship with food without relying on external tools to manage yourself
You're open-minded, curious, and ready to try a completely different approach. Willing to show up, reflect honestly, and do the work
You're looking for a meal plan, calorie targets, or a new set of food rules to follow
You're not open to the idea that diet culture, or a lifetime spent chasing thinness, might be part of what's been keeping you stuck
You're expecting to sit back and have someone fix this for you without your active participation
You have a weight loss goal and you're not willing to consider that healing your relationship with food first is exactly what gets you there sustainably. When the bingeing and overeating stop, your body finds its natural balance. But we have to do this part first. What you've been taught your whole life: you just need more discipline. The right plan. Enough willpower. Try harder.
The Food Freedom Method doesn't give you more rules to follow. It addresses the three root causes that have been running the show. So the urges to eat lose their grip, the food noise dials down, and food becomes something you can actually enjoy again. You'll know how to nourish yourself well. You'll have control that doesn't feel like a cage, confidence that doesn't crumble by Thursday, calm that doesn't require white-knuckling. And yes. Genuine pleasure in eating again. Food that feels good and honours your body. That's what's on the other side of this.

"Before this program, I felt isolated, ashamed and trapped. Now, I feel supported and free."
"The biggest thing I didn't expect was clarity, confidence and control. Nic is legit amazing. 100/10 recommend."
"I eliminated 50 years of food noise. Without dieting."
"I've been binge-free for months, and I now have extra mental capacity that I'm using to focus on my family and my grandson. Without the recovery work, this life change might have felt impossible."
"After 10 days the food noise stopped. First time in years."
"After just 10 days the food noise stopped. By December I got through Christmas and New Year completely binge-free. For the first time in years."
You've spent years trying to fix this from the outside in. New plan, new rules, new resolve. And something always derails it. A stressful week, a hard conversation, a moment where something just takes over and you're standing in the kitchen wondering how you got here again.
That's not a willpower problem. That's a root cause problem.
There are three specific drivers keeping the cycle running. And in this workshop, I'm going to walk you through all three. Not in a vague, feel-good kind of way. In a clear, specific, finally-it-all-makes-sense kind of way.
The first is physical. What's happening in your body that's quietly fuelling the cycle even when you think you're eating fine. The second is mental. The thoughts, beliefs, and food rules running in the background that keep your brain locked in scarcity. The third is your nervous system and emotional needs. What food is actually doing for you, and what it takes to build more options.
We're going to work on re-nourishing your body, rewiring your mind, and regulating your nervous system and emotions. Address all three, and the cycle doesn't just slow down. It stops making sense to your brain entirely.

Because everything you've tried has been working at the surface. The symptoms, not the cause. When you understand the three specific drivers keeping your cycle running, the approach changes completely. This workshop shows you exactly what that means, for free, before you commit to anything.
Honestly, the label doesn't matter. Most of the women I work with didn't have a name for it either. They just knew something felt off around food. If food takes up more mental space than you'd like, if you lose control in certain moments, if you swing between being really "on it" and completely off the rails. You'll find yourself in this workshop. Probably more than you expected.
Here's the thing. If you don't come to this workshop, I can almost guarantee you'll make time for another diet, another plan, or another quick fix somewhere down the track. And you'll stay stuck in the same cycle. You don't have time to keep going around and around in this, spending another year beating yourself up, yo-yo dieting, and trying the next thing that doesn't work either.
This is 60 minutes. Not a six-month commitment. Just a chance to get curious and see if a completely different approach makes sense for you. But I won't sugarcoat it. Real change does take commitment. If you're ready to make that commitment to yourself, this is a good place to start. If you keep waiting for the perfect time, you'll still be waiting years from now. The best time to do something about this is now.
This is such a specialist and nuanced area, and most therapy and coaching doesn't touch all three of the drivers I've identified, because most practitioners haven't lived it and don't specialise in it. Struggles with food can be connected to diet culture, body image, trauma, nervous system patterns, neurodivergence, and so much more. I have the clinical training and the lived experience of this specific thing. I know what it feels like to be exactly where you are. And I know what it actually takes to get out. Come with an open mind and see if this lands differently for you.
You don't have to give up your weight loss goal. What I'm asking you to consider is this. If binge eating and overeating are part of your life right now, no diet or plan is going to get you to a sustainable place. It never has, and it never will. But when you heal the root causes, when the bingeing stops and your relationship with food becomes calm and consistent, your body naturally finds its balance. Women in my programme reach their goals. Not by chasing them through restriction, but by finally stopping the cycle that was working against them all along. Heal this first. Everything else follows.
Nic knows this struggle from the inside. At her highest weight, she had a gastric sleeve in an attempt to control her binge eating. She achieved her dream body, got everything diet culture promised her, and found herself still bingeing anyway. Because changing her stomach never touched the root causes.
It was only when she stopped chasing the body and started healing her relationship with food that everything shifted. Binge-free since 2019, Nic went back to university, completed her Master of Counselling, and developed the Food Freedom Method from her own recovery and clinical practice. She's since supported 400+ women to break free from the cycle and find genuine, lasting peace with food.
Nic is also late-diagnosed ADHD. And for many of the women she works with, neurodivergence is another layer underneath the struggle with food that nobody has ever named for them. She gets that too, from the inside.

You showed up for yourself. You learned the real reason food kept taking over. And for the first time, it actually made sense. You started applying the strategies. You worked on nourishing your body properly, rewiring the thoughts that had been running on repeat for years, and building a toolkit for the moments when life gets hard and food used to be the only answer.
And now? You sit down to dinner and you're just there. Not calculating, not negotiating, not planning what you'll make up for tomorrow. You go to the work dinner and you're actually present for the conversation. The 9pm spiral that used to derail you. It doesn't have the same grip anymore. The all-or-nothing cycle that made you feel like you were failing at the one thing you couldn't crack. Quieter. Different. Done.
Not because you found more willpower. Because you finally understood what was actually driving it. And you did something about it.
That's what six months of working at the root cause looks like. And it starts with 60 minutes.
This is 60 minutes that will reframe years of trying.
